Are Christians like prisoners too afraid of the outside world to leave their cage?

Is their god concept like a jail warden; unseen but all powerful with a legion of brainwashed minions to carry out his bidding? Does their god, like a jail warden, have ultimate moral authority and can make judgments that no one questions, even if the judgments appear cruel and completely pointless? Christians were born into the prison; they were never convicted of a crime but their freedom was taken from them regardless. They have lived in this system their whole lives; maybe they're not even aware they have no freedom because they have no concept of freedom; they don't know what freedom is because they've never experienced it, right?
