In Diablo II, what would be the best 4 man group, class-wise?

I was thinking of playing Diablo II this summer with three of my friends. None of us have ever played the game, but we know (just from looking at the basic character descriptions) that one guy wants to be a necromancer (he likes minions), and one guy wants to be a barbarian (he likes being a tank). Beyond that, my girlfriend and I (the other two) are flexible. What would be the best combination of classes out of the remaining 4 to fill out the team? Paladin, 'cause he has party buffs? Sorceress and Druid? Again, I'm completely new to this, so any advice helps.
