Why is the left promoting the Birther issue, then blaming it on the GOP?

Why does the GOP ask so many mindless and ignorant questions about "birthism"? I don't see the left doing that. All we are doing is to try and point out the madness and futility of bringing up this insane paranoid theory that has been disproven over and over. Maybe our strategy is all wrong. Perhaps if we ignore you, you will go away. In any case, I for one am grateful for Donald Trump and his paranoid fantasy. It is making the entire Republican Party look foolish.
