What does the word "Aleatory" mean in music ? I read the dictionary meaning.?

Okay this is hilarious, but to answer the question: it refers to a post-modern genre (aleatoric aka chance music) which uses random chance as part of the composition or performance, for instance by rolling dice to decide which notes to play.
