Will my hair turn brown?

Okay I'm almost 17, I was born with platinum blond hair, and it is a darkish-medium blond color, I dislike having blond hair, and my eyebrows match my hair too. My dad had light hair when he was little, now its dark brown, and my mom was born with black hair which has lightened to a dirty blonde, will my hair darken?
